The Dissection Hour

Standing around a table,
with hands that may wobble,
are some fine young lads,
with gloves are they clad.

What is happening may you think,
well it is the dissection hour on the brink,
with cadavers on their supine position,
and students that make a fine preposition.

Armed with knowledge and dissection kits,
these young lads with brains truly lit,
cut through the cadavers with all the precision they can muster,
and hide their mistakes with the help of some luster.

Like a statue stands the great skeleton,
a memorandum post-dissection,
students stand in awe at the museum,
for concepts are cleared with great visual-ism.

Guiding through are PG's and brilliant teachers,
mistakes though often leads to screeches,
Oh! The great hours of dissection,
which may seem to you as a matter of fiction.

But,the stories here are all true,
for a doctor must have even the finest clue,
to help the patient in every case,
so welcome to the anatomy lab,

La Chirurgia Odessey

Dark clouds looming by,
Danger ready to pounce,
The heart stops beating,
Surgeons at the ready,
As life's visions pass by,
Incisions are made,
Accuracy at its tips,
And precision engraved to the soul.

That very fleeting moments of life,
Only persistence can sail through,
Life's by the thread,
Desperate codes and desperate people,
A daily chore of the surgeon,
Destiny's call for the patient,
O' surgeon it's your call,
Seize the soul and put it back,
Cut through and make wonder,
For one life can save another,
For that one life may be your
Savior!

Throbbing pulse and a returning beat,
Hope of a lost survivor,
Running past the hurricane of life,
Gasp.... The returning breath of life,
A miraculous recovery from the impending doom,
For the doctor it was just following protocol,
Oh well it was another successful surgery,
But outside was a different scene.

With clammy hands comes handshakes and bear hugs,
For the life has been saved,
The heavy hearts bloom with happiness,
For their life's have been saved,
Hail the doctor our savior says the patients family,
For in front of them was their savior,
A miracle maker when all hope was lost,
Oh doctor! Thou brilliance remain unchallenged!
A swish of your arm and a brilliant cure,
With grace,
With passion,
With love,
Do you work as a healer,
A miracle worker!
