Unseen

I am lost in the sea,
Trying to break from reality.

I am stuck in the dark,
While the world precieves the light.

Gone in this forlorn path,
Dived deep in this shallow pool.

Heart sinks while pride gloats,
Shalt I not leave this reality?

Why this thorn filled path,
Why this heart breaking scene.

The fear of being left behind,
Unable to climb right back up.

Am I the backdrop among people,
Am I the unseen,
The unforseen in this life,
Judged for the things not done,
Judged for the things the heart desires.

Farmer's April

April is a month of heat waves in the equatorial countries and one's by it which makes life for the one's who truly feed us, our dear farmer's life miserable. I read time and again about farmers committing suicide because their crops fail them. Because they cannot sustain their own or their families life. Now let's make this post global to aware the authorities around the world the plight of the true breadwinners 'the farmers' and make them take an initiative to help them.

Farmers April

To what purpose April do you return again,
This month has always given me pain.
Standing there mocking me my crops fail,
It gives me sadness that I can only wail.

This desolate fortitude of land,
That has turned into a pile of sand,
Stares back at me in mirth,
As it turns into hopeless dearth.

Every day I toil around,
To see the land a bit more browned,
With my hopes up do I work again,
To turn around what is now a bane.

For this month of my sleeps terror,
Has led me back again further,
With death mocking me as my crops fail,
To what purpose April do you return again?

100 Faces

The man with 100 faces,
Passes through the town in a daze,
As people enquire about thee,
Will they find no history.

The face changes time to time,
Situations arise and subside,
No one knows your true face,
Or your murderous gaze.

Fickle or sweet thy decide,
As he changes his face,
Like a scene from a dream,
Fast and ever changing is his face.

A sneer behind that infamous mask,
Plotting for the next act,
Smiling and deceptive at all times,
Until the tiger has pounced and attacked.

Sweet you may feel he is,
Soft hearted you may say,
When truly frozen is he,
Iced from head to toe.

It as hardships thy say,
That changed him into the beast,
But pray tell innocence,
Are thou a simple being mutated.

As the 100 faces he possess,
Turn around and escape thy wonder,
Is it a poor soul or a vicious beast,
Behind this sweet mask that he possess.

A Livelihood Ode

Fun am I not,
Detailed am I very,
A few perks here and there,
With a heart soft to touch.

Lonely is my soul,
Long do I for company,
Assassins of words and looks do murder me,
Leaving none back to reside.

Destroyed like a rag doll,
Pitying on my feelings,
A crisp that shall break,
Forever to be apart.

Onward shall look the onlooker's,
Miserable as they truly are,
A livelihood ode to many,
Oh! do they guard their hearts.

Lies and deceit do I see,
Honour bound none again,
"Where did thou go my knight!" do they say,
When the chivalry is right in front of their eyes.

The heart keeps on burning,
Lighting like it's on bees wax,
Ablaze goes all the feelings,
Until a stony residue stays back.

A mask of deceit shall they wear,
Prying on the onlookers,
For nothing resides back in,
Their hearts and their souls.

For the innocence like a dew drop,
Born with a radiance,
Not to know the hour of its essence,
to be meddled with the earth again.

'Heartless' the onlookers say,
Not knowing about the shriveled heart,
Ignorant about the damage they caused,
Until its too late to turn back again.

Until the poor soul has fallen into the depths again,
Without air,
Without a gasp,
Asphyxiated are they go down that hole.

Some crack under the pressure and raid for the mask,
Some on the other hand,
Oh! do goes for the heavenly abode,
Without as much of a thought as the wisp of flame disappears.

Some again turn and become invisible,
Their eyes soulless,
Negligent about their surroundings,
Living their lives with a heavy heart.

Their talents unnoticed and untapped,
Their essence unappreciated,
While all uselessness is put up stage front,
Cheers Oh! do go to such ones.

And so on goes the livelihood ode,
A dark tale of mine or yours,
All throughout life do remember,
It is your choices,your words,
Stay back and be held back.

The world is a marshy land,
with none to spare an eye,
Treasure what you have,
Hold them close,
For once even that's lost,
What else do you have........?

Years Down The Lane

Years down the lane,
I find my life on a single plane,
That angle of my life I had to sacrifice,
To give my hopes and dreams a feeling suffice.

Those strenuous hours and hard days,
When my mind was far from the games of mud and clay,
When my life was just beads of blood,
That dripped as I toiled down my road.

Oh! The tiresome hours I spent,
To find and reach a dream so hard to be lent,
Those tears I shed to follow the path of all,
That I forgot to hear the call.

The very call of my heart,
That tune of symphony,
Which hummed my beloved desires,
To follow the dreams so close to me,
To follow the path that none could,
and to strive and beat the world.

For then would my heart calm,
For then would my eyes forsake the tears shed.

Update #3: Romance

"Each beat a melody, each melody a romance, each romance lasting a lifetime."
What is romance? Is it just a thing, is it desire, is it a mirage, an illusion, a trick played to the eyes or is it a true event, soul changing and lasting for a lifetime.
As I have mentioned in my earlier updates I am more of a person who like's to observe the many things that happen around me. I have observed quite a lot of people through my 21 years of life and one of my favourite one's to observe are "lover's". They have a unique hymn in between them that is always quite clear to the third eye but oblivious to them.
It is a happy event to see 2 people get together, but it is gut wrenching when you know the two people yourself and you know that this probably will not work.Even though you still believe that this is their own choice, their own life and stand afar hoping and praying that this works out just fine, and hoping for a good life for both these souls.
Many of you guys reading might be wondering whether I am in a relationship myself, well no, not yet. Even though I have not yet been in one does not mean that I have never faced rejection's or been in a pseudo relation. As I said before romance may be a fleeting moment or a thing that lasts a lifetime.

Carpe Amorem (Seize love)
There will be moments in life where you will see that glint in your crush's eyes. That glint that says I like you. In such situations I have only one thing to say to you Man up, go forward in that situation  and finish it off then and there because if you leave that moment and don't seize it then you are deleting yourself a whole timeline where you could potentially have been the most happiest couple.
Do not be afraid of the rejections, go forward and tell the stuff you want to tell, do not be afraid of the rejection because once you tell it, you would feel as if a whole load has been taken off your back, trust me on this one.
All in all you have expressed yourself and now it's their turn. Whether or not the answer is positive you should not regret because at that very moment you know for yourself what their feelings are towards you. You have done your part and they have done their's, now move on with your life because if they don't think you are cool then to heck with it, that's their opinion because wherever you go in the world you are you and the world's filled with all kinds of people. You will one day or the other find your true homie, so do not go sulking all day long.
I am going to stop the update on this note that I found in a Chinese novel
"The farthest distance known to man/woman is to stand in front of you, right next to you, yet not know I love you."

The Proposal

You touched my heart unlike anyone else,
You made me say goodbye,
You guided me like the little stars,
That twinkled in your eyes.

You made me shake and quiver
On that very sight,
Of your beauty that's true,
That touches both my shell and soul.

You left me breathless by the sight,
Of your kindness and your character,
Of the very touch that's ethereal,
I see that through your eyes.

Oh my! Your soul vibes in my rhythm,
I hope we be one,
When the world stand's against us,
I hope we stand as one.

I hope you will forgive me,
When I say I love you,
You are the one; my soulmate
And I hope I am your solitude.

Hope you will accept me,
This very battered shell,
I hope you will find in me,
The love you have yearned.

I cry with a heart that's dying,
Because of my  nervousness
Of hearing the answer,
For I surely am terror struck.

Whether you will tell yes,
I do not know,
But I do know
That I will never be the same.

The answer might change me,
For better or for worse,
You may in flame me,
And my very life.

Hope you find me,
In this darkness,
And guide me like you once did,
For this life I lay down for you,
For the answer that I yearn.

Aviary: Anguish Of A Withered Soul

I know what a caged bird feels, Alas!
Squatting in its wretched perch,
A being chiseled out of clay,
Longing for the day she can fly to the blue.

Each day the longing envelopes,
As she looks for the very clue,
The clue of her life that's waiting to lurk,
As the predator turns to its toes.

She knows as all caged birds do,
That one day she will flee,
And with that freedom she will glee,
As onwards to the sky she shall glide.

The wind shall hit her,
As she sails through the storms,
The smooth tidings and the heavy rain's,
She shall brave them all.

Longing for that happiness,
Beating her wings determined to be free,
She beats till her blood sheds on the bar,
She beats till it stains with her tears.

She awaits for the very day,
Knowing not whether she would attain,
That one thing she longs for,
Alas! I know what a caged bird feels.

Traffic: The Rush Hour

Peeping out through my window,
I find nothing but chaos,
People running helter- skelter,
for they have no time to waste.

Chores over in the blink of an eye,
By beings of magic,
A swish of the wand,
A click and all in right place.

Competition- Life's a race,
The first to finish in a fast pace,
Is said to be the successful one,
Is said to be the great one.

But man, what about the last,
What about him/her you ask?
Why leave your brethren there,
It's human values to help other's.

So stop,stop for a minute,
Think back,
Try to help, Try to pause,
For then you would notice.

The beauty your life is,
The beauty it would have been,
if you had left the past,
And forgotten about the future,
And stayed in the present.

For then you then you would have stopped,
Stopped and helped those you simply passed,
Thinking they are nothing but scum,
Thinking their hums- tuneless,
not worth, nor praisable.

For then you would have noticed,
Noticed even the smallest things and be contended,
A smile booming in that face,
The smile being a true one, blessed and heartfelt.

Aspiring Beads

Looking through the windows of my car,
I find lonely children of the slum,
Children who look up and about the stars,
With faces of pure glum.

Their little faces and beady eyes,
Aspire for life with hope,
But are put aside with promises and more prominent lies,
Leaving life for them hard to cope.

Oh! prominent leaders why promise why lie,
Why raise hopes and then make a perpetual break,
Day in and day out these children cry,
Until an understanding truly wake.

That this world is all about the survival of the fit,
Petty thieving, begging are all they can find,
To live a world they find dim lit,
To live a world they find no people kind.

Stranded

On this bereft island am I stranded,
Unknown the path that led home,
The very home I despised once,
For the kraken had destroyed its shore.

Home sweet home you would think,
But my home far beyond here,
Waged war with the nature,
Slowly eroding it's very grace.

Said to be once a land of promise,
Of beauty and wisdom,
Of flourishing plants and animals,
And a relished beauty within.

Gracious was the joy,
Of every one in a bliss,
Until the dark shadows loomed above,
And the beast lurking within made its move.

Oh! The rising tides and the cracking grounds,
The puffing monster's of magma,
The sliding earth and the shots of lightning,
And the rising drought for the growth.

My very home was to be doomed,
But action in course was taken,
To make survive of what was left,
A battle soon ensued.

As if lamenting for the loss,
The people tried to make peace,
With the nature that it once thought lightly,
Which now lashed with fury.

Feeling sorry for the past,
Where once did people foresee such a future,
And warn with a cry for action,
For which an answer failed for reaction.

Oh! Well this very shadowed past,
Is full of sorrow,
But hope is a clue,
That I am clinging to.

Standing in this bereft island,
Of plastic and metal,
Feeling for the last nutrients of my land,
We travel to the future.

To the future,
That may hold a healthy land,
A healthy planet,
That we may hope to conserve.
